WEEKLY NEWS FOR 22nd NOVEMEBER

Good evening everyone, 

Apologies for the late match report, but was great to see you all Thursday and as always some fantastic football was on display.

Premier League
Club Tropicana FC look like title contenders for next season with a solid 4 - 1 win over reigning champions Borussia Munchenvadgeflaps. Matt Morris the outstanding player in the opener! Steve Simms led Shunt Gunk Utd from the front with a great performance which earned them a 2 - 0 win over Bring Back Lloyds who stay in the relegation places going into the final few games. Tinchy Sneijder again failed to show for there fixture which gifted FC Fusion a 5 - 0 win with Harry Ledbury putting in a fantastic performance for his side, thank you to everyone who stood in to give them a competitive game. Shark Monkeys are finding the Premier League league tough as they go down 9 - 0 agaisnt leaders Benteke Fried Chicken, Tom Graham making numerous saves to keep the score line to single figures which rightly earned him the man of the match award! Bayer Alwayslusen keep their hopes of a second place finish alive with a 3 - 0 win over The Freshford Rejects, Gary Higden being awarded the MVP.


Division 1
The first game of the evening saw the 5 men of 6 Offenders take on Class on Grass which saw Jordam Gullis put in an epic performance for his team and bagging a brace to see 6 (or 5) Offenders run out 3 - 0 winners. Rob Maddox and his Expected Toulouse boys climb up to third and keep their promotion hopes alive after a solid 1 - 0 win over Ivory Toast. McDons secure a solid victory over Madeline Milan FC eventually securing the points with a 2 - 1 win. Scoring like Sonogo played a make shift Magpies FC which gifted them a 5 - 0 win. The final game of the evening saw champions Chuckle Vision FC extend their winning run with a 4 - 1 win over Fossil FC.

I would like to say a big welcome to Lewis Smith and his Pique Blinders boys who will be joining us as of next week ready for the next season!

I'm sure you'll all join me in welcoming Ali Brewer to our Leisure Leagues team, he comes with a wealth of knowledge in the game as well as his level 7 qualification.
