WEEKLY NEWS FOR 31st JANUARY
Good afternoon everyone,
We had yet another brilliant night of football in some spectacular conditions! Thank you to everyone involved who helped us fulfill a full set of fixtures throughout the evening!
The Untamed Fitness Premier League
The first game of the evening saw Borussia Munchenvadgeflaps continue their good form against Class on Grass, eventually running out 5 - 1 winners! Champions Benteke Fried Chicken kept their unbeaten start to the season going following a solid 4 - 0 win over Making Emile of It which even saw captain and goalkeeper Will Holt come out for a cameo on pitch! The newly promoted sides clashed in the third fixture and couldn't be separated in a 1 - 1 draw! Great game of football to watch. Leaders Club Tropicana Drinks FC continue their strong start after seeing off FC Fusion 5 - 2. Unfortunately Shunt Gunk Utd were unable to make their fixture due to the weather which gift M78 a 5 - 0 win. Thank you to Bradley Daws and his Class on Grass side who stood in and gave them a competitive game!
The 3M0 Division 1
Expected Toulouse lost ground on the leaders after falling 2 - 1 to Past It FC which saw captain and keeper Lee Ross put an inspired performance for his team. Fossil FC confirm they will be promotion contenders again this season after turning over a strong McDons side 3 - 2 in a game which saw plenty of chances at both ends! Performance of the night goes to Lindel Gilling and his Magpies Allstars FC which saw them claim a valuable win agaisnt Saigon Express, Lindel Gilling proving the inspiration and the winning goal for his team with a fantastic finish! Madeline Milan FC get their first win of the season after a great performance against 6 Offenders, eventually holding on to a 2 - 1 win! Leaders The Freshford Rejects look like they are going to bounce straight back to the Premier League after another solid 3 - 1 win, this time over Ivory Toast who remain in second!
