WEEKLY NEWS FOR 06th DECEMBER

Good morning everyone, 

Last night was the penultimate game of the season! Thank you all for providing us with another fantastic season of football up John of Gaunt school! Our Trowbridge leagues really are some of the best leagues we have!

Premier League
Shark Monkeys didnt turn up to their 19:00 kick off which gifted Shunt Gunk Utd a 5 - 0 win, thank you to Ivory Toast for jumping on and giving them a decent game of football! Newly crowned champions Will Holt & Benteke Fried Chicken see off reigning champions Borussia Munchenvadgeflaps 2 - 0. FC Fusion keep their hopes of a second place finish alive with a hard fought 3 - 2 win over The Freshford Rejects. Bring Back Lloyds were unable to fulfill their fixture this week due to work commitments but thank you to Brad Arberry for letting me know in plenty of time so we could organise a Friendly for Bayer Alwayslusen. Pique Blinders failed to show for the second time in a row and have now been removed from the league, apologies to Aaron and his team Club Tropicana Drinks FC but thank you to everyone who stood in last minute to give them a competitive game! 

Division 1
Ben Martin and his boys Chuckle Vision Fc are one game away from an unbeaten season after turning over McDons 4 - 1 in the first game of the evening. Scoring like Sonogo drop points on the leaders after falling 2 - 0 to Ivory Toast in a brilliantly competitive game of football which had chances at both ends! Callum Stone being awarded man of the match for a solid performance at the back for Ivory Toast. Class on Grass continue their good form with a close 2 - 1 win over Expected Toulouse, captain Bradley Daws leading from the front and bagging the all important winning goal! 6 Offenders put in a brilliant performance against Fossil FC eventually running out 5 - 2 winners, Kyle Oakley putting in a brilliant display for the offenders. Madeline Milan record their first victory in Leisure Leagues with a much improved performance against Magpies FC , 2 - 1 the final score.

Please be aware that our booking does not start until 19:00 so please do not go on to the pitch before this time as it interferes we other peoples sessions.

Remember if you are unable to make your fixture you need to provide us with 7 days notice so we can find a suitable stand in for your game, if you fail to provide this notice you will still be charged the full match fee.
