WEEKLY NEWS FOR 08th AUGUST

Good morning everyone,

Last night was both difficult and disappointing with a few teams failing to appear for their fixture meaning not everyone got a game. This is not the standard we expect from our leagues and our teams. If you are unable to fulfill a fixture you must give at least 7 days notice or you will still be charged the full match fee.

The Untamed Fitness Premier League
The first game saw new boys Net Six & Chill play out a points game and earn themselves a 5 - 0 win. Thank you to Rob Clarke and his Scoring like Sonogo boys who came up early to give them a competitive game! Borussia Munchevadgeflaps continue thier remarkable climb up the table as they look to secure another title! Putting six past The GreyHound in a heated and physical game of football. Leaders Benteke Fried Chicken failed to raise a team which gifted Chuckle Vision a 5 - 0 win as they move into joint second and look certain to catch Benteke now! Danny Shelton put in a man of the match performance for Class on Grass against FC Fusion but it wasnt enough as Fusion ran out 6 - 3 winners! Making Emile of it failed to turn up for their fixture against Lion & Fiddle meaning we were unable to get them a game. Hugely disappointing and not what we expect from this league and the teams that play in it.

The 3M0 Division 1
Saigon Express kicked off the evening with an impressive performance against Magpies AllStars FC as they smash 8 in! However they couldn't keep the Magpies at bay for the entire game as they bagged a consolation goal late in the second half! Andrew Keightley put in a fantastic performance for Zubahatajj FC as they secured a 2 - 1 win over Ivory Toast in a game that could have gone either way. Richard Beno put in an epic performance for Scoring like Sonogo as they put four past Madiline Milan to bagn the points! Great game of football to watch! Matt Andrews and his 6 Offenders were in spectacular form as they turned on the class to beat Fossil FC 7 - 1. The final game of the evening saw Past It FC take home another victory as a depleted Dyslexis Untied failed to raise a full team so gifted them a 5 - 0 win

Other News

We currently have a few spaces in our Thursday league and a couple of spaces left in both our brand new Sunday & Monday leagues which will be starting in September! So on top of our existing offer of £20 cash or a FREE game for your team we will also be extending the offer and giving any brand new team who signs up their first game for FREE as well! There has been no better time to join Leisure Leagues!

We have taken the decision that this season will be finishing early and we will be restarting the leagues as two divisions of eight teams. I will explain to all the captains when I see them individually next week.
