The Louth Wednesday 6-a-side league saw some cracking matches this week, with some particularly high-scoring ones.
In the Premier League, Beer edged past Manby FC 1-0 in a super close game to leapfrog them into second place. This was followed by one of the fixtures of the week, a thrilling 4-4 stalemate between For Evra Young and Blast From the Past.
Louth Lads had a walkover as their opponents Here For A Laugh were unavailable. This means they will deservedly be champions for this season.
Division 1 carried on the high-octane football. Current leaders Only Put Matip In beat Tekkerslovakia 8-1 in a demolition derby. They have now secured the title and promotion with a four-point gap at the top.
Cesc Offenders also enjoyed a great outing in a 6-2 win over Bolas Empoiradas to all but secure their place in the second promotion spot. We Only Win If You Concede edged past Dusty Ballers FC to climb out of the bottom two, aiming to finish the season on a high.
