SUNDAY 26TH SEPTEMBER - SWADLINCOTE WEEKLY ROUND UP

It was another excellent evening's football in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night, the only exception surprisingly being Ball of Duty who did not let us know of their attendance.

In the title race, Lads on Toure edged past Netsix and Chill to remain top of the table! This was dubbed as the early title contender, but can the others keep up? Boom XhakaLaka beat new boys Keystone Lintels FC 9-2. It was a spirited effort from the new side who were unfortunate they come up against such a good side early doors. Swad Rams defeated Centrum Warriors 4-0 to rise to 4th.

There was unfortunately an incident in the game between Pique Blinders and Six Appeal where there were two red cards branded. Can i remind teams abuse towards to referee is completely unacceptable and teams will be issued fines/bans!
