Monday evening update!

The league champions battle commences!

The countdown towards the end of the season has begun! With only 4 games left until the end of the season, the battle for league champions is well and truly underway. We are now in a time for no slips up or wasted points, so keep a close eye on that league table!

In other announcements, our brand new 6 team division got underway tonight, yet again proving how successful Leisure Leagues is becoming, with another night of profession and organised competitive football, the way 6 a side should be!

PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

There could only be one team of the week this week and it had to go to Sperm Tour. It looks almost certain that these guys are back again. I know its only been a couple of weeks, but they have completely dominated in both, so its hard not to hype them up. With the best goal difference in the league and keeping the pressure on Athletico Pathetico only 3 points behind, its very easy to consider them title contenders, especially with their latest run of form as a team and certain individuals really pulling their weight. One name that got plenty of praise from the referee, was a name that is consistently popping up, Gideon Vallence. Gideon decided to leave his match winning performances until the end of the season and not only help his team climb the league table, but also climb the "most valuable player" table, now sitting joint top with 4 MOTM awards.

PREMIER LEAGUE MOTM AWARDS

Scott Elliot - Man Chest Hair United - Scott had another great game tonight. His trade mark skill is being able to pick the ball up from defence and just run at defenders, dribbling and dancing his way through the team, which we witnessed many times tonight. another "player of the season" contender.

Dom Gook - Haven't got a kalou - This keeper doesn't have day off! He always turns up with all the kit, which makes you wonder-is he one of those guys with all the gear and no idea?... the answer, most definitely not! his performances every week back him up as a brilliant keeper and every week pulling it out the bag for his team.

DIVISION ONE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

The first ever team of the week award for Division one goes to Rough n ready. Rough n Ready have really taken to the league and hit the ground running. These guys play brilliant as a team, keeping it organised and simple. They look very promising and are for sure emerging as one of the 'teams to beat'. From what I've seen of these guys, they are solid just about everywhere and don't appear to have any weaknesses. One area In which they certainly don't have any issues is their attacking play, with the MOTM Keith Dickins having a great first game! don't let this guy shoot, he does not miss. Let's hope this brilliant form continues.

DIVISION ONE MOTM AWARDS

Will Banks - BNP Paribas - Another keeper to get MOTM this week and the first to receive it in division one. Not only did I hear the cries from Wills opposition players when he denied them in front of goal time and time again, but I also had the privilege of watching a couple of minutes of him in action, one word....Outstanding!

A reminder to all the new teams in the new division one league, don't forget to fill out your players cards, as to not miss out on your MOTM awards and be in for a shot of 'player of the season'
