Only Put and “3” with the massive performances!

Finally we get back to consecutive weeks of 6 a side football at The Vyne School, which of course is massively helped with the end of most football in the country, now with only the European champions to watch.

The weather was perfect and everyone was clearly really keen to play on Monday night, so lets find out who claimed team of the week...

PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

Only Put have really impressed me this season. These guys only got freshly promoted last season, so this is their debut season in the higher division and they only got promoted on goal difference as runners up, which makes this even more impressive. They have been floating around mid table and are defiantly not considered relegation candidates, giving nearly every team they come up against a really tough game. Monday was a really strong performance from these boys who walked away feeling really confident after a 5-1 win and now sit just 4 points below 2nd place, so where will these lads finish in their debut season in the big boy division?...

PREMIER LEAGUE MOTM!

George Farthing - 2 Girls 1 Klopp - George had a really strong game in goal and kept his team at 0-0 for the first half due to a handful of excellent reaction saves and even though he conceded 2, would've been an awful lot more if not fo him!

Thai Halliday - Only Put - Thai was so solid defensively and was involved in just about everything when building up for attack. He even bagged himself a goal to really round of his all round MOTM worthy performance.

DIVISION ONE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

The leagues most oddly name team will take it this week after a VERY impressive team performance. 3 will definitely be holding their heads high this week after a VERY confident and convincing 7-2 win, which also takes them up out of the bottom of the league again. This is exactly the kind of performance these guys needed to give them a huge moral boost, after probably their best team performance to date and one that they will be able to take into their next game!

DIVISION ONE MOTM AWARDS!

Jake Burton-Pye - The Lampposts - Jake was the only player worthy of MOTM in this game, taking his goal scoring threat to a different level! Jake smashed it past the keeper 4 times on Monday night and was just a different class!

Kuba Sikora - Net six and chill - Kuba was another player on a completely different level on Monday night. His team were not going to lose with the form this guy found himself in. He could do no wrong and looked unbelievable, giving the referee no choice but to award him MOTM!

Cody Piper - 3 - Although there were many players from this team that could have been disappointed not winning MOTM but his work rate and quick feet were far too eye catching to not give him his deservedly worthy MOTM award!
