WE ARE BACK!

MONDAY NIGHT 6 A SIDE FOOTBALL AT THE VYNE IS BACK!

Last night was our first night back under the light and on the 3G and what a success it was! Every team in attendance, fully staffed with referees and all the games ran on time! It was clear to see everyones excitement to be playing again and even though we now have to stop again for a week due to the bank holiday, im sure it'll return the same after the break on April 12th!

PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

Although the scoreline doesn't suggest it, we have to award Only put with "team of the week" this week. Bare in mind these boys were only promoted as runners up from the lower division last season, so to lose only 5-3 against a team like 2 goals 1 cup, who have been league champions for 3 seasons. The most important thing to remember is that Only Put were arguably the better team for most of the first half and were 3-2 up until about 5 minutes before time, so have really hit the ground running in the top division. Im really excited to see how they cope this season.

PREMIER LEAGUE MOTM AWARDS!

Robbie Gorman - First touch FC - Robbie really caught the referees eye last night when he bagged his hatrick and single handedly won the game for his team with an outstanding performance!

DIVISION ONE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

Man chest hair united will claim it this week, after they managed another victory to ensure they keep their 100% winning start to the league. They are also now the only team yet to concede a single goal. There were definitely chances both ends throughout the game but Daniel O'flynn's team always seemed in control and rarely got pushed back into their own half. Its a strong start to the season for them but could they finally gain promotion?

DIVISION ONE MOTM AWARDS!

Brett Drumond - Pick n Mix - Brett had an outstanding game between the sticks for his team, at times very much keeping his team in the game and very MOTM worthy!

Liam Cook - Astroworldies - Liam yet again producing for his team when he needs to and finding the back of the net as he so often does!
