Abingdon 5 a side Monday kicks off again!!!

After a long lay off it was amazing to see teams take to the pitches again last night as Abingdon 5 a side got back underway at Tilsley Park.

It has been a very difficult period for many people during lockdown and 5 a side football is a fantastic way to get fit which helps massively with mental well being too. 

We welcomed back the majority of the teams last night with a few more starting back next week. A big thank you to all the teams that stayed on to play points matches due to teams not quite being ready to return yet. We also welcomed new team Basically Barca to Div 1.

Thank you to everyone for following the guidelines on the night. Most teams also paid online and the one's paying cash said they would pay online from next week, this is much appreciated and allows our supervisors to run the night without having to handle cash. All these things will allow us to keep the leagues running. Times have changed and we are starting to see a new sort of normality but keeping fit remains a very important part in life.
