Abingdon Monday 5 a side results round up!

Another excellent week of 5 a side football at Tilsley Park with all teams in attendance for match day 3 at our Abingdon Monday league.

The Premier League is wide open this season with six strong sides battling it out for the top prize. There are now no teams undefeated as Hadland Rovers won 5-2 against Fruity Spartans to end their 100% record. This allowed Athletico Achilles the chance to go top and they did with a 11-5 victory against Jugg FC. Norfolk N Clue got their first win of the season as they came out on top in a game between the two promoted sides as they beat Ivory Toast 6-3.

Green Goblins continue to make light work of Div 1 as they ran out comfortable 12-1 winners against Poortugal to make it 3 wins from 3. Royal Madrid halted their poor run of form so far this season with an impressive 6-1 victory over Unnamed 31 year old Everton players while Sevilla Depression won 7-2 against bottom side Hardly Athletic.

AB's All Whites are enjoying a fine start to the season in Div 2 as they sit pretty at the top after another win, this one coming against Champagne Super Rovers 4-1. Goals Allowed are up into the promotion places as they won 7-2 against Substandard Liege while Survey Monkey's are level on points in third after a 7-1 win over Victor Moses Lawn.

Sporting John and FC Unts are the teams to catch in Div 3 as they both continued their perfect records this season. John won 12-2 against Cunning Stunts while Unts beat Expected Toulouse 7-2. The Sticky Bandits are up to third as they won 7-3 away to Only Put Matip In.

Finally we head into Div 4 where leaders Scumbag FC had a comfortable evening as they strolled to a 10-2 victory against McFatty's while the other match saw Relegation Rovers and Intayanan shared the points after a 3-3 draw.
