Leaders march on at Abingdon Monday 5 a side

It was match day 8 down at Tilsley Park last night at our Abingdon Monday 5 a side league. All teams were in attendance apart from The Reds and Unnamed 31 Year Old Everton Players who are both back next week. 

Cooper's Troopers hold a 4 point lead at the top of the Premier League as they picked up a points match win. Unprotected Cesc rose back into the top two as they won 7-6 against Unlimited while another close match saw Hadland Rovers move up to third with a 9-7 win over Fruity Spartans. Basically Barca picked up a points match victory.

Ivory Toast made it 8 wins from 8 as they saw off FCUOB 13-5 to maintain their 4 point cushion at the top. Norfolk N Clue won their match 9-4 against Hardly Athletic to stay second. Sevilla Depression moved out of the relegation zone with a points match win while Murder On Zidane's Floor narrowly won 4-3 against Poortugal.

Royal Madrid eased to a 8-0 win over Cunning Stunts to keep their 100% record going. Substandard Liege moved into the second promotion place as they won 7-5 against AB's All Whites. Expected Toulouse dropped to third as they went down 9-4 to Survey Monkey's while Only Put Matip In put in their best performance of the season to defeat The Sticky Bandits 9-0.

Top Didcot Dawgs continue to lead Div 3 as they won a points match with The Reds away this week. Sporting John are second still as they won 10-4 against Intayanan while Victor Moses Lawn are only behind on goal difference as they beat FC Unts 10-6. Finally there was another win for Relegation Rovers as they defeated McFattys 8-4.
