Towcester 6-a-side Monday league: Weekly recap
The Towcester 6-a-side Monday league returned after a week's break as work continues on some top-notch 3G pitches and floodlights at the Towcester Centre for Leisure.
All three teams in the division at the moment received 5-0 walkovers in their points matches due to vacant slots in the league.
However, all sides showed up and Pooventus FC enjoyed a casual friendly each against Champaigne Super Rovers and Hardly Athletic. Pooventus and Hardly Athletic are set to face off in an official match next week.
The former are looking in good shape alongside Champaigne Super Rovers, who are exactly level on points and goal difference atop the table. Their match will be one to look forward to.
