Sunday 26th January - Birmingham Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance across all divisions throughout the night, the one exception being a cancellation from Dinamo Dawlish who called on the day to cancel.

Make A Change ran out 2-0 winners over Sporting Madrid this week in a big result following the 2-1 defeat Dad's Army suffered at the hands of Chivas Primera which means Make a Change are now 2 points clear at the summit.

Actuary Not That Bad moved level on points with top in Divsion One as they recorded a 2-0 win against Six Offenders, whilst The SSS drew 1-1 meaning they are now only top on goal difference.

We have a new leader in Division Two in the form of Chiellini Con Carne who were 1-0 winners over League Hunters, with Tea and Busquets suffering a 3-2 defeat to Cofton Ultras.

Krul Runnings dropped a rare point in Division Three as they drew 1-1 against Finn Loves Grans, allowing AFC Kings Heath to move to within 2 points of them after they swept aside Incredible Scenery 4-1.

Another top team dropped a point in Division One as Beeches FC were held to a 0-0 draw by Sainsbury's Baysix, a result which means their lead is now cut to just a point with Average Bro's winning 2-0.

The Student Division Five kicked off in fine style too this week.  Obi 1 Kanobi are top after a game following their 5-0 walkover.  In the league matches though there were wins for Fatty Trekkers, Delph and Safety and FC Third Bar who all started their campaign positively.

We wish all teams good luck going into the next round of fixtures with Birmingham's premier provider of small sided football.  If you have any queries regarding the league you can contact Shaun at Head Office on 0333 123 2340.
