Sunday 16th February - Birmingham Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Birmingham Sunday 6 a side overall this week with all teams in attendance for their matches barring two.  Tekkerslovakia in the Premier Division and De Jong Offenders in Division 4, both of which will be spoken to accordingly regarding the next round of fixtures.

Make A Change United continue their march towards the Premier Division title following another win this week, 5-2 against D&G, that result coupled with a 1-0 defeat for second placed Dad's Army moves them four points clear at the summit.

We have a new leader at the top of Division One with Actuary Not Bad replacing SSS FC.  Actuary were 3-2 victors in their match against Team Name whilst SSS could only manage a 1-1 draw with Six Offenders pushing them down to second place.  Promotion should still be very much on the agenda though as they still sit three points clear of Chivas who were beaten 3-1 by Goose.

Chiellini Con Carne moved four points clear of second placed Tea & Busquets after this weeks games, they were 3-1 winners when the two met in this weeks fixtures.  Dolce and Lallana are right back in the promotion shake up following that result and their 2-0 victory against Cofton Ultras which moves them level with second spot.

Runaway leaders Krul Runnings continue to dominate Division Three and moved 4 points clear of second place this week.  They edged past UAE Town 2-1 whilst AFC Kings Heath who were second before kick off lost 3-1 against Lads on Toure.  Finn Loves Grans are now second as they brushed aside Incredible Scenery 4-0.

It remains tight at the top of Division Four as the top three teams all picked up positive results this week meaning two points separates them still.  Beeches FC were 2-0 winners over Cadbury Old Timers whilst Average Bros 1-0 win against Stevie Wonders sees them stay joint top.

Delph and Safety put in a professional performance as they ran out 2-0 winners against Fatty Trekkers who they leapfrogged in the table to top.  Third placed Obi One Kenobi Nil won by the same scoreline as their name states in their match against Long Ballers, whilst Ten German Bobby's sit fourth following their 3-1 victory over Hannover.

We wish all teams good luck going into next weeks matches with Birmingham's premier small sided football provider!
