Monday 10th February - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and plenty of goals scored across the divisions.


FC Seshlehem hahve started this campaign as they finished the last, top of the table after the first 4 matches with a 100% record.  They were 9-3 winners in their game against Durrington FC.  Worthing CCFC were 10-1 winners against Hussars FC in a very impressive performance, moving them up to third and boosting their goal difference considerably in the process.


Vapors have had an equally impressive start to life in Division One with a fourth win in a row as they beat Hakuna Juan Mata 3-1.  Bowen Balcony moved into second place after winning a 9 goal thriller over Queens Park Strangers who they move above in the table.


Virgins FC did enough to extend their perfect start in Division Two this week after a narrow 1-0 win against Fat Old & Cold FC, whilst Yolo Toure remain in second following a 6-2 win against Moleicester City.  Packet Inn moved up to third after they recorded an impressive 5-1 win against Cream of The South.


In Division Three Diego Costa Coffee moved to the top of the table after they won 4-2 against Jen Dog FC, who they moved above in a congested league table.  Asthma FC also moved up a place into second following their 5-3 victory against Dylesxia Untied as only 2 points separate 5 teams at this stage of the campaign.

Maradona Kebab have withdrawn from the league after playing out their 14 days notice.  We are pleased to welcome new team We're Bad to the league as their replacement and wish them good luck going into their first game in the Premier Division on Monday 17th February!
