Monday 21st January - Worthing Round-up

It was an excellent evening of 6 a side football in Worthing on Monday with all teams in attendance as scheduled, apart from FC Casj who will be spoken to accordingly.

FC Seshlehem were the big winners of the evening in the Premier Division as they thrashed Hateful Eight 10-1 in a surprise result between the two mid table teams.    Rudd Van Nipplejoy's title aspirations were dealt a severe blow this week as they were beaten 2-0 by top of the table Whetoor Is Evripmone who now pull 3 points clear of their opponents who slip to third.  Hussars FC also won again this week, beating MK Don's 4-3 in an entertaining clash.

It was a perfect 10 for Range Athletic this week as they retain maximum points following a hard fought 2-1 victory over Maradona Kebab.  Second placed Carver's Dream Team lost further ground on top spot as it looks less likely they can catch Range now, they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Findon CCFC.  They now look to grip on to second spot as FC Big Wangs and Maradona Kebab sit just one point behind them.

In Division Two Bakedbaines moved 4 points clear at the top of the table as they beat second placed Fake Madrid 3-1 to enhance their title chances.  FC Sporting Lesbian and Bag Raiders also picked up victories and only one point separated 2nd to 4th position.

All The Gear and Selden Park Rangers are locked in a head to head battle for the Division Three title, both won again this week and remain level on points, only a superior goal difference of 3 keeps All The Gear at the top.  Queens Park Strangers and Benteke Fried Chicken are in the chasing pack and both sit two points behind the top two after 3-1 and 6-1 wins respectively.

We wish all teams good luck going into the next round of fixtures with Worthing's premier provider of small sided football.  If you have any queries regarding the league please contact Shaun at Head Office on 0333 123 2340.
