Monday 17th May - Worthing Round-Up

It was another excellent evening's football in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some excellent football on display across all four divisions.

MK Dons are the new leaders in the Premier Division after this weeks matches, they ran out 2-1 winners in closely contested match against Hakuna Juan Mata, whilst Chiellini Con Carne suffered a 3-1 reverse against Packet Inn, who despite sitting second from bottom in the table are just 2 points off top spot!  NSD and Vapors sit in third and fourth place respectively after a game which Vapors edged 5-4 in a thriller.  Last season's champions FC Big Wangs were 4-0 winners against Partey Time who remain rock bottom and pointless.

Hussars FC's perfect record stretched to a fifth week as they won an entertaining contest in convincing fashion, 7-3 the final score in their game against Brexit Boys.  Virgins stay in second place following an 8-2 hammering of Havana Club, but only goal difference separates them and All The Gear No Idea in third.  Game of the evening in Division One was the ten goal thriller between Jen Dog and Crack Attack, a game which Jen Dog recorded a 6-4 win to sit halfway in the league.

WPR lead the way in Division Two as they thrashed Kroos Control by a 7-3 scoreline.  Asthma FC sit in second place after this weeks 2-1 win over Selden Park Rangers who they leapfrog in the table with this result.  Borden's Angels seek to move clear of the drop zone and they enjoyed a convincing 5-2 victory over bottom of the table Scoo who remain pointless so far.  LA Dairy Milk secured a big win to keep in contention of survival as they won a 9 goal thriller by 5 goals to 4 against Bowen Balcony FC.

There is a new leader in Division Three with Borussia Munchonflapjack going to the summit on goal difference after a 7-0 thumping of Clit Buster.  Cream of the South stay second after they ran out 3-2 winners over Bayernmunchies in an entertaining game, whilst Diego Costa Coffee moved to third place after brushing aside Disunited 5-1.  Moleicester FC picked up their first win of the season with a 3-1 victory over Milf Hunters, they will be looking to build upon this for the remainder of the season.
