Monday 20th June - Worthing Round-Up

Overall it was a good start to the new season in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled, with the only exception being late cancellations from Pen15 Club and Affordable FC who have confirmed they will return on Monday 27th June,

On the field we were pleased to welcome four new teams to the action this week!  Broadwater came into the Premier Division and certainly didn't disgrace themselves as they were beaten 3-1 by a good Wet Ass Pukki side.

Rimbon FC came into Division One and came up against a well versed Hussars FC side who've previously been champions of the Premier Division, the new boys put up a superb performance and eventually lost out 3-2 in their debut game.

The new sides in Division Two faired differently as Penfold Athletic had a tough opener against LR Vets who beat them 11-2, whilst Swaztekka had a fantastic opener which saw them win an 11 goal game by a 6-5 scoreline against Not So Athletic!

We wish all teams good luck going into game week 2 with Worthing's premier providers of small sided football!
