Monday 21st June - Worthing Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's football in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week which saw all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night and some excellent football played across all divisions.

There are two teams out and two in as we go into the games on Monday 28th June.  We welcome new teams Sevilla Autism (Division One) and AFC Golds (Division Three) into the league this week.  They replace the outgoing Brexit Boys and MoLeicester FC respectively.

The top v bottom clash in the Premier Division offered little in the way of surprises, as top of the table Chiellini Con Carne ran out 5-0 winners in a comfortable evening against Partey Time.  Packet Inn picked up a point as they drew 1-1 with NSD, MK Dons dropped to third place following a 2-0 defeat to FC Big Wangs.

Hussars FC are steam rolling their way back to the Premier Division as they made it 9 wins in a row this week, a 3-1 victory over Pukki 22 their latest result.  Second place is still very much up for grabs though as only two points separates Jen Dog, Virgins and Crack Attack respectively.

WPR stay top of Division Two after an entertaining 4-4 draw with third placed Selden Park Rangers, moving them a further point clear at the top as Asthma FC were beaten 2-1 by Borden's Angels.

In Division Three Borussia Munchonflapjack gained some ground on the top two, one of which they beat in the form of Diego Costa Coffee, the two played out an 11 goal thriller in which Flapjack ran out 6-5 winners!  Cream of the South were beaten 3-2 by Clit Busters as a single point separates the top three sides.

As ever if you have any queries regarding the league you can contact Shaun at Head Office on 0333 123 2340.

We wish all teams good luck going into the next round of fixtures with Worthing's premier provider of small sided football!
