Monday 4th July - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, with the only exception being a late cancellation from Wet Ass Pukki who we thank for calling and look forward to seeing return on Monday 10th July.

Vapors went to the top of the Premier Division table this week after their 5-0 win, albeit on goal difference as Jimmy Floyd Hasslehoff fell from top to third after a 5-2 humbling at the hands of Worthing Rovers who are the fifth team in the division to be tied on four points at this early stage.  MK's Dons occupy second spot after they made short work of Sevilla Autism in a game that ended 10-2.  The Dad Bod's picked up their first win of the season, and did so in fine fashion as they romped to a staggering 19-3 win over new boys Broadwater.

Hussars head the Division One table after this week's action as they won an entertaining game against BCOB by a 4-3 scoreline, moving them a single point ahead of Arseanal who shared a ten goal thriller against Packet Inn, a game that ended 5 a piece.  LA Dairy Milk remain in third place and were comprehensive 6-2 winners over Murder on Zidane's Floor, whilst fourth placed Rimbon FC won by the odd goal in seven in a game that they ran out 4-3 winners!

LR Vets goal scoring exploits continue into a third week as they were 13-3 winners against Jen Dog FC, they've now racked up 29 goals in just three matches.  Ian Moore's Boys sit level on points in second place and don't have a bad return on goals themselves, a 3-0 win this week over Swaztekka keeps them in good shape.  Penfold Athletic got their first win since joining and did so in style as they won a frantic encounter against Not So Athletic by a 7-6 scoreline in a game where defending came last on the priorities list.

Division Three leaders 3 For 100? made it a third win on the spin to leave them the last remaining team in the division with a 100% record, they were 6-2 winners over Brass Band in a well drilled performance.  Elsewhere Nolu FC bounced back from last weeks defeat to win their second game in three, as they breezed past Bayern Munchies by 5 goals to 1.  Affordable FC won the battle of the pointless teams to pick up their first win of the season, they were 8-2 victors over Disunited, whilst You Petr Cech and Unathletico Madrid shared a ten goal thriller and took a point a piece in a game that ended 5-5.

We wish all teams good luck going into game week 4 with Worthing's premier small sided football providers!
