Monday 1st April - Worthing Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening of 6 a side football in Worthing on Monday which saw all 32 teams in attendance for their fixtures as scheduled.

Ruud Van Nipplejoy remain top of the pile in the Premier Division after they put Hateful Eight to the bottom of the table with a 5-2 victory.  Despite a heavy 7-0 defeat to Seshlehem, Worthing Vapors cling on to second place, although that result puts Seshlehem just a point off them.  Hussars suffered their second defeat of the campaign, a 6-3 reverse at the hands of Carvers Dream Team their result this week which sees them three points off the pace.  Bloc FC move off the bottom of the table and closer to safety after they beat Whetoor Is Evripmone 2-1 in a closely contested encounter.

Fake Madrid stay at the top of Division One following this weeks action, a 3-2 win over MK Dons, they remain closely followed by Baked Baines who drew 3-3 against LA Dairy Milk, and FC Big Wangs who were 3-2 winners over Findon CCFC, both are just a point off the pace.  Bowen Balcony moved up a place into fifth as they beat bottom of the table Maradona Kebab convincingly, 7-2 the full time result.

In Division Two, FC Casj continue their impressive start to the season as they won 4-1 against Diego Costa Coffee, who hover just above the relegation zone, whilst Selden Park stay second as they won 3-1 against Hakuna Juan Mata.  Sporting Lesbian moved into third place and above Fat Old and Cold when the two met this week, Sporting running out 5-2 winners in an entertaining clash, whilst Bag Raiders picked up their first points of the campaign, a 4-3 victory over mid table All The Gear not enough to lift them off the bottom though.

In Division Three, Queens Park Strangers suffered defeat for the first time this campaign, they went down 5-4 to Notso Athletic who stay third but move just two points off this weeks opponents.  Woodies and Tits took full advantage of the previous result, as they thrashed Pony FC 11-1 in a dominant performance from start to finish, they are now just one point off the pace.  Disunited climb out of the bottom two following their 1-1 draw with 2 Goals 1 Cup whilst Bad Kompany remain rooted to the foot of the table after their 4-3 defeat against Benteke Fried Chicken, although they can feel hard done by to not have came away with anything from this game.

We wish all teams good luck going into the next round of fixtures with Worthing's premier small sided football provider.
