7TH APRIL LEAGUE UPDATE FROM THE WORTHING SUNDAY LEAGUE

Another good week in the Worthing Sunday league although Untouchables and Dubs failed to attend their fixtures. We have already spoken to both team captains and they have confirmed that the teams will be back as normal for this Sunday`s fixture.

AFC Romania had their 100% record broken in the premiership this week as they suffered a 2-1 loss at the hands of Neville Wears Prada but still remain top on goal difference. The Gaylacticos were unable to take advantage of AFC dropping points as they were totally out played by a determined BTEC United team who went on to win 4-1 and move in to 4th place. All Blacks joined the the leaders on 8 points as they took full advantage of the top two dropping points as they defeated Smudgeykinz Town by a scoreline of 1-0.

Division one saw Bag Raiders continue to dominate the league and extend their 100% start to the campaign by gaining a fine 3-2 victory over Petr Cech Yourself. The Bobby Carlos Experience remain hot on their heels as they ran out 4-2 winners against a Lahmageddon side who gave a determined display but were out down by the finishing of their opposition.
