Sunday 20th March - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some entertaining games played across the three divisions!

High Salvington Gentlemen are the only remaining team with a 100% record to the start of the season, as they made it 4 wins in a row with a 6-2 victory over Real Le Sheet, whilst Fatzio dropped to second place after being held 1-1 by Lahmageddon who now sit in third.  The Tutt Experience got their first win of the season and moved away from the drop zone in the process, this following their 6-2 thrashing of Unnamed FC, whilst The Rebels stay in the drop zone but also got their first win this week, in the form of a 3-1 victory over Weymouth Wanderers.

TTM FC got back to winning ways this week in Division One, as they recovered from last weeks 2-2 draw with an impressive 7-2 thrashing of Only Matip In.  She Was Only XI moved up to second after they were convincing 3-0 winners against Maradona Kebab, they leapfrog Mas Dog Academy who lost out in an 11 goal thriller, 6-5 the final score in a second consecutive win for Ji Sung Park The Bus.  The Defeatables completed the action in the Division as they sit half way, following their 6-2 victory over Snorting Lisbon.

In Division Two, leaders Posh and Becks Vier were held to a 1-1 draw by Sompting Dragons who move into second spot with that point, at the expense of Rusty's who drop to third following their 6-4 defeat against So Sompting Crew.  Inter Yanan put two defeats in a row behind them at the start of the campaign, and won their second consecutive game this week as they ran out 7-2 winners against Hakuna Juan Mata.  Petr Cech Yourself stay in seventh but registered their first win this week, they were 5-0 victors over Breast Rummidge Albion whom they now sit two points behind.

We thank all teams for their continued commitment and reliability towards the league, and look forward to seeing everyone in attendance for game week 5 with Worthing's premier providers of small sided football!
