Sunday 28th November - Worthing League Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some entertaining matches played across all three divisions.

High Salvington Gentlemen notched four goals for the second week running, as they made it 3 wins from as many matches this week, running out 4-1 winners in their match against Fatzio.  Weymouth Wanderers had drew their opening two matches prior to this week, they bagged their first victory at the third time of asking with a 3-1 win over The Tutt Experience, moving them into second place after this week's matches.  Real Le Sheet drew 3-3 with Lahmageddon this week in an entertaining encounter, whilst OLOTR got their first point of the campaign in a 1-1 draw with Classic XI, as both occupy the bottom two spaces in the Premier Division.

Suarez Is My Hamster's perfect start to the Division One campaign continued this week as they ran out 5-0 winners over Enter a Team Name Here as the top v bottom clash threw up few surprises this week.  Bobby Carlos Experience were 7-1 winners over The Rebels in a convincing performance which puts them into second place, whilst Unnamed FC remain in third place following their 4-0 over Breast Rummidge Albion who they leapfrog in the table.  Elsewhere Only Matip In picked up their first win of the season with a 5-2 victory over Class on Grass who remain pointless.

So Sompting Crew's phenomenal start to the campaign continues in Division Two, as they smashed bottom of the table Dragons by a 9-0 scoreline.  Sompting Dragons also have a 100% record after three games as they were 3-1 winners in their match against Unfitballers.  Bag Raiders got their campaign off and running with their first win of the season, they were 3-0 victors in their match against Inter Ya Nan, whilst The Defeatables rounded off the action with a 2-0 victory over Posh and Becks Vier.
