Sunday 2nd October - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some entertaining football played across all three divisions.

League leaders High Salvington Gentlemen keep their place at the summit, and claimed a third clean sheet in four games as they edged past Lahmageddon by a single goal.  Fatzio are on their tails and also have a perfect start to the campaign as they thrashed Inter Ya Nan by a 7-2 scoreline.  Mas Dog Academy move into third place as they leapfrogged The Rebels in the table after edging past them by 3 goals to 2.  She Was Only XI moved off the foot of the table and did so in style as they ran out winners of a 10 goal thriller by beating Real Le Sheet 6-4.

Division One has new leaders as Unnamed FC now occupy the top spot following a comfortable 3-0 win over The Defeatables, whilst TTM slipped to second place with a shock 8-0 thrashing by The Tutt Experience who move into third place.  Fourth placed Petr Cech Yourself are also on four points following their impressive 5-1 victory over Hakuna Juan Mata, whilst Ji Sung Park are another of the four teams on four points after they were 5-3 winners over Sompting Dragons.

In Division Two, Maradona Kebab moved up to second spot following an impressive 4-2 win over Chicken Tikka Mo Salah, whilst leaders Bobby Carlos Experience were comfortable 3-0 winners over So Sompting Crew to keep up their 100% record.
