Sunday 3rd April - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week overall, with the only disappointment being a non-attendance from Only Matip In who will be spoken to accordingly and confirmed to return on Sunday 10th April.  We must stress the importance of contacting us at Head Office if you are unable to attend a game, even if this on the day it allows us to ensure that a game is arranged in your absence.

On the field there was a big result in the title race in the Premier Division, as High Salvington's perfect start to the season came to an abrupt end, as they were humbled 5-1 by Fatzio who now sit top of the table a point clear of the gents.  Third placed Real Le Sheet are now two points off the top two as they hammered bottom of the table Unnamed FC by a 6-1 score line, whilst Lahmageddon stay in fourth place following their 6-2 win against Weymouth Wanderers.  Elsewhere The Tutt Experience moved out of the drop zone as they ground out a hard fought 3-2 win over The Rebels.

She Was Only XI went to the top of the table on goal difference this week after an impressive 5-2 win over The Defeatables, although TTM won this week 4-3, they were overtaken due to XI's win which puts them two goals ahead in a tight looking division.  Ji Sung Park got back to winning ways this week after last weeks defeat, a 3-1 win over Maradona Kebab their third win in four as they continue their improvement.

Division Two leaders Posh and Becks Vier keep their impressive run going, they were 3-2 winners over Rustys in the top two battle, they now drop to third place as Inter Yanan leapfrogged them following an impressive 6-4 win over So Sompting Crew.  Petr Cech Yourself moved up to fourth spot above opponents Sompting Dragons who they beat 5-2 this week, whilst strugglers Hakuna Juan Mata were beaten 8-2 by Breast Rummidge Albion.

We wish all teams the best of luck going into next weeks matches as we reach the halfway point of the season with Worthing's premier providers of small sided football.
