19TH MAY LEAGUE UPDATE FROM THE WORTHING SUNDAY LEAGUE

Once again another excellent evening in the 6 aside league held at Worthing Leisure Centre with all teams in attendance and everything running smoothly once again.

We had a new team called SJ United join the league this week and they  started their campaign with a fine 4-3 victory over AFC Romania who were last weeks leaders in the premier division. As AFC Romania suffered their loss this week, BTEC United took full advantage and moved in to pole position with a fine 3-1 victory over Pathetico Madrid. All Blacks lost ground on the leaders and dropped to third after they were defeated by 7th placed Neville Wears Prada this week. 

Division one saw Bag Raiders continue to head the division as they picked up a worthy 3-0 victory over 3rd placed Lahmageddon. The Bobby Carlos Experience remain a solitary point behind the leaders thanks to their 5-1 defeat of bottom side Petr Cech Yourself. Surprise result of the division was a 7-0 thrashing of Row Z Rovers by an explosive Pique Boo FC.
