Sunday 8th September - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening of 6 a side football in Worthing on Sunday which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled including the two new teams who played their opening fixtures with us.  

Fruity Drillers had a tough first game in the Premier Divison as they were beaten 8-2 at the hands of Bag Raiders, but were said to be in good spirits after the game.  Meanwhile Puyol Pants Down were beaten 7-3 at the hands of Dragons, in an entertaining encounter in Division One.

The top two teams in the Premier Division picked up healthy results this week both notching double figures.  Bobby Carlos Experience were 10-1 victors over AFC Bulgaria, whilst second placed Taking The Mkhitarayan recorded an impressive 10-0 victory over The Gaylacticos.

Sompting FC went to the top of Division One after their 2-1 victory over The Legends, this follows Mas Dog Academy's surprise 6-0 reverse at the hands of Lahmageddon, a result which sees them drop to second position.

Ibrahimobitch have withdrawn from the league after playing out their 2 week withdrawal notice, we thank them for their time playing in the league and hope to see them return at some point in the future.

Following the poor behaviour from a number of their players this week, we have taken the decision to remove Pathetico Madrid from the league with immediate effect.  We had reports of one of their players spitting at an opponent, which of course is completely unacceptable, and there were numerous players who were abusive towards the match official too.  We will not tolerate this sort of conduct within our leagues.

With the above in mind, there is just one team space available in each division in the league at present.  If you wish to join you can do so now and get playing immediately!  There is a one off Entry Fee of £25 payable by Debit or Credit Card upon signup.  As soon as a completed application form is received we will be in contact with details of your first kick off time.
