Tuesday 9th May - Worthing Round-Up

Excitement was in the air as the Worthing Tuesday 6 a side league kicked off at the Leisure Centre. The first game of the night saw GB Electronics FC take on the new boys in town, El Spastico, who were making their league debuts. The game was a close affair, with both sides battling hard to get the win. In the end, the match ended in a 2-2 draw, leaving both teams with a point to start the season.


Next up was the high-scoring clash between SEBL FC and AE FC. The goals flowed freely in this one, with both teams showcasing their attacking prowess. However, neither side could get the upper hand, and the match finished in an entertaining 4-4 draw.


The third game of the night saw Real So So Bad take on the Dog & Duck FC. Despite their best efforts, Real So So Bad couldn't find the back of the net, and it was the Dog & Duck who emerged victorious, with a 2-0 win to start their campaign.


In the penultimate game of the evening, Paris Ain't German took on the reigning champions in the league, DFC. However, DFC proved to be too strong for Paris Ain't German, with the champions showing their quality with a 3-1 win to kick off their title defense.


As the opening night of the new campaign drew to a close, all teams were thanked for their continued commitment and reliability towards the league. New teams were also encouraged to sign up and take advantage of the free entry worth £25 on offer.
