Tuesday 19th October - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Tuesday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled.  

We welcomed new team Dad La Soul to the league this week and although they were beaten 6-0 in their opening game against 3 For 100? they were said to be in good spirits and will be looking to build on this going into the next game as they get used to things.

Midnight Dynamos continue to be on the march as they made it 6 wins from 7 this week, a 7-3 thriller against Paris Ain't German their latest result as they now sit three points clear at the top.

Spirit Squad suffered a 3-1 reverse against Dog & Duck this week as they remain in second place, but lose a bit of ground on the leaders.

Elsewhere Optimum Landscapes recorded what may be viewed as a surprise result, but they were good value for this as they ran out 4-0 winners against FTG FC, another result which shows how close this league is.

It is great to see the league running so smoothly at present and we thank all of our teams for their continued commitment and reliability.
