WEEKLY NEWS FROM THE KIDDERMINSTER SUNDAY LEAGUE 17TH FEB

A bit of an unusual evening in the Kidderminster Sunday league as 2 Goals 1 Cup and DY Dons failed to attend their fixture without letting us know at Head Office. I would like to remind all teams that if they are unable to make one of their fixtures, they must let us know as soon as possible so that we can arrange a match for their opponents. We will be contacting both teams to ensure that they are back for next week or they will be removed from the league.

AFC Hornets moved 3 points clear at the top of division one and therefore claimed the title as they defeated their nearest rivals Bale Us Out 4-1 in a fierce encounter. Bale Us Out were reduced to 5 players after one of their players received a red card for violent conduct. Obviously actions of this kind are not accepted in our leagues and the player concerned will now receive a fine and a ban from the league. It was a sour note on what has been a very closely contested title race.

Ashes6 secured the premier division title as they were gifted a 5-0 victory against 2 Goals 1 Cup as we move in to the final round of fixtures this week.

We currently have a couple of spaces available in this league with the new season kicking off on the 3rd March. Therefore as a special offer for the new season we are offering 50% off the usual fee to join the league. Therefore you can now enter your team for only £15 up until the new season starts. If you are interested in joining, then please enter your team details online or alternatively get in contact on 0333 123 2340 if you have any questions.
