STAMFORD 6 A SIDE SUNDAY LEAGUE NEW SEASON 17TH OCTOBER

It was a great night of football on Sunday to kick off our new 6-a-side season in Stamford with all teams in attendance and some entertaining games being played out.

The Stamford Sunday 6 a side league has now been changed into one big league instead of 2 smaller divisions so it will be interesting to see how teams fare in the coming season.

Gopping Lizards started their season off well with a 3-0 win against The Red Hoops of Bourne whilst Deez Nuts carried on their good form after finishing top of Division 1 last season with a 3-2 win against Xavi Dodgers.

However the game of the night saw We are Scheidt who finished 3rd in Division 1 last season beat last season's 3rd placed Prem team Elsea Park Allstars 5-2 in a very good win for the former. 

This season is shaping up to be very interesting with more shock results looking likely!
