Sunday 15th May - Stamford League Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Stamford Sunday 6 a side league this week, which saw all 8 teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, and all matches very closely contested as always!

Champagne Super Rovers are now the only team in the league with a perfect record so far this season, as they beat Raki Raiders by a single goal.  Xavi Dodgers took the other remaining perfect record as they inflicted a 6-3 defeat on champions Hansi Flick My Balls, moving above them in the process.

Elsewhere the remaining two pointless teams are pointless no more, as Luka is Goated got off the mark with a 2-0 win over Gopping Lizards, and Stuart Survivors edged past Woowaaweewa Wanderers by a single goal to register their first win of the season.
