Sunday 8th May - Stamford Round-Up

Overall it was a good evening's football in the Stamford Sunday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance barring a rare cancellation on the day.  Woowaweewa Wanderers did phone Head Office on the day though which we thank them for, and they return on Sunday 15th May as per the fixtures.

The three league games produced some entertaining affairs, as Champagne Super Rovers made it three wins from as many games with a convincing 6-1 win against Stuart Survivors who are still searching for a first point, as are Luka is Goated who were beaten 2-1 by Raki Raiders in an evenly contested game.  Elsewhere we saw Hansi Flick My Balls collect their third win on the spin as well, joining Champagne SR on maximum points after a 2-0 victory against Gopping Lizards.
