Lichfield Monday Night Football League: Week 2 Round-Up

Week 2 of the Lichfield Monday Night Football League saw matches from the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2, all of which delivered high drama and intense competition.

In the Premier League, Club Tropicana Drinks FC secured a narrow victory over SHOW ME THE MANE with a 5-4 win, in what was undeniably the match of the night. 

Out On Bale and Thursday Club couldn't be separated, with the match ending in a 3-3 draw, whereas Yes Chef managed to cook up a 3-2 victory over Colonel Getafe, adding another layer of excitement to the league. Unathletico Madrid return as usual from next week.

Over in Division 1, Inter MaVan faced a tough defeat against Mere Green F in a 2-1 encounter. The other match saw Parks Poachers fall 4-1 to the hands of MK Dongs who showed their dominance in the division with an impressive performance. Slick Ricks return to competitive action as normal next week!

Division 2, the most tightly contested division of the night, was home to some exhilarating football. SHELFIELD WEDNESDAY triumphed over 99 Problems But A Pitch Ain't One with an emphatic 5-1 victory. Baloteletubbies were kept at bay by ICE PACK in a 2-0 game, while Losing My Reguilon and Shortbutts FC battled it out for a 4-4 draw, a testament to the competitiveness in the division.
