Play in the Guernsey Wednesday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

In a thrilling 16th week of the Guernsey Wednesday 6-a-side football league, we witnessed some intense matches across the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2. With only two weeks remaining in the season, teams are fighting valiantly to secure their place in next season's lineup.

Starting with the Premier League, the match between The Mail Men and Aztekkers ended in a 5-5 draw, keeping the spectators at the edge of their seats. RC FC managed to edge past Too Many Flutes FC in a close encounter ending 2-1. Les Green Mango FC and Gash Galvanisers also ended in a deadlock at 5-5. Los Diablos secured a hard-fought victory against Baines On Toast with a scoreline of 1-0. In another close match, Substandard Liege managed to overcome Pelé Galaxy CF with a 2-1 score.

In Division 1, we saw some high-scoring encounters. Bossolona fell to Egg Fried Reus 4-1, while Class On Grass secured a 2-1 victory over Two Girls One Schlupp. One Foot In The Grave managed to keep a clean sheet with a 2-0 win over Valpys FC. Brentford Rejects squeaked by Exeter Gently by the narrowest of margins 1-0, while Ran Out Of Mane won against Man Cheaty 115 with a 3-1 score.

In Division 2, GUERNSEY ACADEMICALS were defeated by Football Club FC 3-1. Jager Sinkers outplayed Purple Reign with an impressive 6-1 victory. EY 11 defeated AAFC 4-2, while Cherry-Poppers managed to edge past Who Ate All Depays 4-2. In the final match of the division, Only Put Matip In managed to overcome First Class Ballers with a 2-0 score.

As we look forward to the final two weeks of the season, we're anticipating some of the most exciting matches yet. With the league's top scorers eager to increase their tally, the competition is heating up across all divisions.
