Exciting Kick-off to the New Season of Birmingham Sunday Football League

The first week of the season for the Birmingham Sunday 6-a-side Football League saw an intense night of matches across all divisions. Spectators were treated to a spectacle of the beautiful game as teams set the bar high for the competition to follow.


In the Premier League, the Cadballerz made a powerful statement by defeating Real Madri 4-0, with standout player, Mason, netting three goals to claim the spot of division's top scorer and game MVP.

Meanwhile, LMAFC edged out Chasers On Tour in a thrilling 3-2 encounter, with Dimitri the match MVP.

Over in Division 1, Unfit FC set the pace with a 4-0 win over Hawks. The Black Panthers were brushed aside by a more clinical Real Madreadful unit in a 4-2 encounter.

Scorgasm also showcased their scoring prowess, defeating  FCB 5-2, with Harry of Scorgasm firing in three goals to become the division's top scorer tonight and MVP

Division 2 wasn’t short of excitement either. SIIUUUUUUU dominated their match against 2 Girls 1 Klopp, securing a 4-0 victory. Ethan was the MVP for Siuuuu with a first game of the season hat trick

Petr Cech Yourself narrowly defeated Avengers Assombalonga 3-2, and Mcginn And Tonic triumphed 4-2 over Gangsters Allardyce. Max of Mcginn and Tonic earned the accolade of top scorer, bagging three goals, with Kyle from Gangsters picking up MVP. Alex picked up the MVP award for Avengers

In the final tier, Division 3, Huzzless FC outperformed Top Shotters in a high-scoring game, resulting in a 7-3 victory. Sporting Lesbian secured a narrow 3-2 win over LTRT FC and Southside Strikers were on the wrong end of a 6-4 scoreline against Muburak FC. Southside Strikers' Isaiyah Reid stood out as the division’s top scorer with four goals.

Isaiyah (Southside) Demar (Sporting) and Alfie (Huzzless) were the game MVPs.


With the first week of the season setting such a high tempo, fans can look forward to thrilling weeks of football ahead. The teams have set their standards high, ensuring a fiercely competitive season is on the horizon.
