Play in the Birmingham Sunday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

In a thrilling week of football action, the Birmingham Sunday league hit its fifth week, with teams in four divisions battling it out for supremacy.


In the Premier League, LMAFC demonstrated an impressive performance, defeating Cadballerz 9 - 2. This victory was largely due to the stellar effort of Dylan Lenihan, who bagged an astonishing five goals, earning him the top scorer title for the division. Other notable results included Pique Blinders FC's 9 - 3 victory over Chasers On Tour, and Real Madri's 7 - 4 win against Unfit FC.

Most Valuable Players- Forbes (Pique) Dylan (LMAFC) and George (Madri)

In Division 1, Real Madreadful raced to the top with a resounding 5 - 1 win against Hawks. However, the spotlight was on Nick, who made his mark by scoring five goals for Real Madreadful, thus securing his spot as the top scorer of the division.

Two of our newest sides played out an entertaining 4-2, with Murder defeating Neville Wears Prada, whilst Petr Cech edged Siuuu 5-3

Division 2 was not short of excitement, with the Muburak FC outclassing Borussiateeth 7 - 1. A special mention to Dayton, who dominated the pitch scoring five goals for Muburak FC, making him the top scorer for this division.

Ding Dong continued their good form beating Six Offenders 2-1 to remain top of the table and unbeaten

Most Valuable Players- Dayton (Muburak) and Liam (Ding Dong)

Finally, in Division 3, there were several closely contested matches with Southside Strikers edging out Gangsters Allardyce 4 - 3, and Pathetico Madrid securing a 4 - 2 victory over 2 Girls 1 Klopp. Goal-scoring honours in this division go to Joe, who netted three goals for Gangsters Allardyce.

Top Shotters also kept pressure on the top, beating Sporting Lesbians 2-1

Most Valuable Players-  Tariq (Top Shottas) Martel (Pathetico) and Jake (Southside)

As we head into week six, the action promises to intensify as the teams vie for the top spot in their respective divisions. The top scorers will also be looking to add to their goal tallies and help their teams secure crucial points in this hard-fought season.
