In a thrilling display of football prowess, the St Neots Monday 6-a-side Football league kicked off its new season last night with a series of adrenaline-fueled matches across the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 brackets.

The Premier League matches witnessed some awe-inspiring performances, with Breast Rummage Albion setting the bar high in their 5-0 victory over White Yardies. Chris from Breast Rummage Albion led the scoring charts, netting an impressive total of three goals. Not to be outdone, Theodorables served a 6-0 whitewash to Freedom, while Six On Fire edged out Part Timers in a closely fought 3-2 contest.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, Law Abiding Sigurdssons outplayed Only Fools And Ballers with a 4-1 triumph, thanks to a stellar performance by Ryan Donaldson who scored two goals. Pepsteins Files also started the season with a win, narrowly defeating Dortmund Wanderers 1-0.

Over in Division 2, Inter Yournan managed to hold off Salad Munchers FC in a nail-biting 3-2 victory. However, it was Ben from Salad Munchers FC who was the standout performer, scoring two goals despite the loss. Stroke Titty FC also claimed an early season win, triumphing 1-0 over ATG No Idea FC.

As the season has just begun, it's still all to play for in the St Neots Monday league.
