In an exhilarating display of football yesterday, Exeter Monday's 5-a-side Football league continued with the fifth week of the season. The Premier League division featured intense competition, with several teams battling it out for supremacy on the pitch.
BOOM XHAKALAKA FC clashed with Dartmoor Tree Surgeons FC in a nail-biting match, ultimately carrying the day with a narrow 7-6 victory. In another impressive performance, Broadclyst Ballers emerged victorious over Net Six And Chill, thrashing their opponents 21-4.
Parts United and Dulvy Dynasty also stole the show with a high-scoring match. Despite a gallant fight from Dulvy Dynasty, Parts United secured a 10-8 win, adding another victory to their season's tally. The face-off between Tinpot Town FC and Peakers United FC also did not disappoint, with Peakers United FC taking home an 8-4 victory.
The match between 5 A Cider and Piers In Paris saw a dominant performance from Piers In Paris, who trounced their opponents with a 15-4 victory.
The star of the week, undoubtedly, was Scott Puddicombe from Parts United. His outstanding performance on the field earned him the title of the most valued player of the week. His skill, precision, and teamwork played a significant role in Parts United's triumph over Dulvy Dynasty.
