Last night, our social media platforms were abuzz with anticipation as the highly anticipated Leisure Leagues July Prize Giveaway took centre stage. Participants from across the nation eagerly awaited the results, hoping to secure their place among the lucky winners. The virtual event unfolded with great fanfare, culminating in a memorable evening of triumph and celebration.

Emerging victorious in the prize race were the formidable Bilbao Bagsmen and the Tenacious Thorin, from the Spalding league, who clinched the coveted Team Kits. These teams can now proudly display their unity and spirit in matching, high-quality kits.

Hot on their heels as worthy runners-up were After FC from Lincoln, who earned themselves a thrilling reward—a Remote Contol car that promises hours of fun.

The title of Most Valuable Player (MVP) was awarded to the exceptional Simon Quaterman from Crewe. His skill, leadership, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament caught the attention of the officials. As a testament to his outstanding performance, the wheel gifted Simon with a prized piece of memorabilia—an item personally signed by the esteemed referee Mark Clattenburg.

The Golden Boot, awarded to the tournament’s top scorer, was earned by the talented Ashley Malcolm from Stourbridge. With a remarkable display of precision and finesse, Ashley secured the prestigious honour and a striking black football as a symbol of their achievement.

Even in the face of challenges, the spirited participants of Brexit Boys FC from Sittingbourne were presented with the Wooden Spoon award, but at least they have a delightful assortment of chocolates to sweeten their spirits.

As the dust settles on this thrilling event, Leisure Leagues is pleased to announce that the prize draw will return on August 1st. To be eligible for future draws, participants are encouraged to opt for the Prize Draw at the end of their league season when contacted by their dedicated Area Manager.
