We are looking for somebody who likes being in front of a camera!

You don't need to have previous experience, as we will give you a screen test to see if you dry up, or are simply a natural.

We are a leisure business (mainly football) but you don't need to know a lot about football to work with us. You just need to be relaxed and confident in front of the camera, be prepared to work work unsociable hours (our shows will be live each evening eventually) and be prepared to muck in on many tasks as we build our TV production unit from a small base, into one that is producing innovative content, live shows and documentaries.

To start off with, this is a part-time role, working Tuesday afternoons and evenings, but eventually will map out into a full-time position for the right candidate.

This is your opportunity to be the face of Leisure Leagues to our database of 250,000 footballers in the UK, and over 5 million players worldwide.

Working from our Head Office in the Midlands you will be responsible for looking after around 25 of our UK 6 a side football leagues. Knowledge of football is not essential but you must be organised, be able to prioritise and have an excellent telephone manner, and you will be speaking to your match night staff and customers on a daily basis.

Using our automated website you would monitor how your staff input results and fixtures and ensure that they do an effective job for you. Occasionally you will be required to visit them and you will need to think clearly and positively about how to get the maximum income from your group of leagues.

We are quick to identify and develop talent, and many of our Senior Executives started in this role. Anyone that shows an aptitude for managing leagues can expect a quick promotion.

Area Managers have the opportunity to substantially increase their wage with an aggressive bonus system.

We have a smart casual dress code and a flexible hours system but we do expect you to work late on to match our busiest days as the business’ needs dictate. Most of our Area Managers leave early on a Friday once they have completed their weekly tasks and this might be anywhere between 11am and 2pm on a Friday.

Qualifications are less important than an entrepreneurial, can do attitude and a desire to succeed and push yourself.

We are looking for someone who combines a curiosity and deep interest in social media, along with a passion for sport to work with our in-house departments to create innovative, exciting content and to increase our social media reach.

You don't need any experience, but being able to create content, look for external content to post, to understand the new trends and how they can be used to further our brand and having curious and new ways to increase interaction, would be a distinct advantage.

We are not looking for safe and boring. We are looking for unusual and creative. The successful candidate would be required to work anti-social hours, including evenings and weekends, to interact with our customers when football matches are taking place. As such, whilst it isn’t necessary to be a football fan – more that you are social media savvy – knowledge and ability to engage on football matters would help.
