The draw for the 2023 Leisure Leagues Powered 6 a side World Cup has been made, with England, who are representing the Home Nations this year, drawn in a tough group alongside the USA, Argentina, and Qatar.

The tournament will take place from June 2-11 in Essen, Germany.

England – made up of players in our network – will face a tough challenge in Group A, with all four teams capable of reaching the knockout stages. The USA are experienced campaigners, and are always a team to fear, while the England team faced Argentina last time out, winning 3-2 (pictured). Qatar is a new team on the scene, but they have some talented players, and they will be looking to cause an upset.

The team, led by former Bristol City player Henry Muggeridge and England veteran, Arjun Jung, will be hoping to overcome the challenge of their group and reach the knockout stages and progress further than last time, when they were defeated by Poland in the Round of 16. The team has a good mix of experience and youth, and they will be looking to make their mark on the tournament.
