We started one of our Leisure Leagues New Year’s Resolutions early last night.
In 2020, we want to get out and see as many of you as we can, all over the world, to show the Biggest League network on earth as often as possible.
Wherever you are playing in a Leisure Leagues competition, from Pakistan to Mexico, Ireland to the Isle of Wight or anywhere in between, our team want to meet yours in the new decade.
Our social media gurus braved the December cold and wind yesterday to get out to our Warwick Monday league – and they were rewarded with some stunning action.
And, while West Ham and Arsenal were playing out a tremendously dull first half in the EPL, our cameras were capturing a classic – and it wasn’t the only one played on a goal-filled night, either.
A 10 goal thriller can, after all, only be described as a true humdinger. Fittingly it was AC Cricketers who hit a 6 and saw off Wanyamas In Pyjamas 6-4.
The highlights (and there are plenty of them) are over on Facebook, here.
Amazingly, there was even more goals elsewhere, with 12 strikes hitting the back of the net in one match in Division One, as top of the table FC Copenbadly and Literally Anything Else, served up one of the games of the season, with Copenbadly eventually winning 7-5.
So now the standard has been set, you know what to do when you see our cameras at your league….get your shooting boots ready, because in 2020 we are coming to watch your skills, and we want to show the world what you have.
