Introducing The Leisure Leagues Self Isolation Excercise Programme

After the announcement on Monday that the UK was going into a partial lockdown for three weeks, and our leagues being forced to close as a consequence, we know it is ever more vital that players get exercise.

The Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, has suggested that everyone goes out to do an hour of exercise a day – but what if that isn’t enough? Don’t worry, we can help!

With the gym’s closed, we at Leisure leagues have put together something that may help – a series of football-related exercise challenges for you to complete at home remember though, these are just our suggestions, after all, we need to keep fit for when the leagues return. Check out the first exercise video here.

Keep an eye on our social media pages over the upcoming weeks for further exercise clips to keep you entertained during this difficult time.

If you do take part in the Leisure Leagues Self Isolation football training programme, then let us know.

We’d love you to share some of your ideas to include in our training clips over the coming weeks! Use #LLStayActive to send us some clips of your exercises to feature on the FB page. Don’t forget to share the post and nominate your mates who need a bit of additional motivation.

Most importantly though, please stay safe and if you can, stay home.
