MOORS THAN A GAME

Solihull footballers have got even more choice than ever before as Leisure Leagues started a brand new league at the brand new community stadium in the Midlands town.

The wonderful new Abacus Lighting Community Arena was officially opened last night, with our new Monday league being the first time that hundreds of local footballers had the chance to sample the incredible facilities.

Leisure Leagues Head Of New Business, Jack Bullivant admitted he couldn’t have been happier with the start and said: “It is a real thrill for us to be kicking off in Solihull at the home of the biggest club in the town. We are based just up the road and it is to offer these new leagues to everyone in Solihull is something that we are very excited about.”

The Monday league will be joined later this week by a brand new Sunday competition, and is in addition to all the other leagues that Leisure Leagues offer in the area.

The Abacus Lighting Community Arena is part of a major new investment for Solihull Moors, who are promotion favourites this time after having just missed out on promotion to the EFL for the first time in their history. The state of the art 4G pitch is built behind one of the stands at their SportNation.bet Stadium home.
