The Cardiff 6-a-side Sunday league had all teams in attendance except Dans Boys who could not play their game and gave notice earlier in the day, this resulted in a 5-0 defeat for them and double match fees to be paid prior to their next match. Teams are reminded that they need to give 7 days notice if a fixture cannot be fulfilled or your full match fee will be charged.

With the new season due to start shortly, we are looking for new teams to join us, you can register a Team Entry Form online now by logging on to our website, there is a one off £25 fee or please call Neil on 07411 146576.

Players are reminded that there is no smoking allowed around the pitch and litter should be put into the bins provided. Also, please do not ask the referees or officials to use match balls for warm up. Can all player please stay off the pitch area while matches are being played.

Team captains are reminded that Leisure Leagues will not tolerate ill-discipline and players / teams will be removed from playing in our Leagues if this is constant or deemed excessive by the officials.

From now on all players who have registered their email address will receive an e-booklet one hour after the results have been published. If you have not registered your email address and want to receive an e-booklet, you can do this via your team manager or alternatively give us a call on the number below.

I would also like to remind all team managers that they need to keep us informed if they change their contact details and also the details of the 2nd main contact for the team.

Cardiff Leisure Leagues 6 a-side football
Tudors Motors kicked off the evening with a convincing 9-0 win against Panthers FC and keep their thin hopes alive towards winning the league, they must beat the Falcons in next weeks encounter after they themselves had a good win beating the Nutty Boyz 8-2 and keep hold of top spot.

In the eagerly awaited clash between United in One and Adamsdown Allstars, it was United who came out top in a close 2-1 victory and moved them into second place and close on the heels of the leaders.

CC Allstars came out winners 2-1 in the close encounter with Ragtag Rovers, the match could have gone either way and even a man of the match performance from Ragtag player Mike Davies couldn't help them overcome a gritty Allstars performance.

In Division 1, YOLO FC wrapped up the league with a 1-1 draw and the point made sure they stared their debut season with winners trophies that will be handed at in a few weeks time as they now look forward to the Premiership challenge.

Both recent newcomers Adamsdown Youngstars and Real Trekkers look the real deal as they continued winning ways both scoring 6 past their respective opponents.
