Monday 6th January - Cannock Round-Up

It was a superb start to the new year in the Cannock Monday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled including new team Blewdoggydog who played their first game in the league, losing 4-3 to Real Has Been's in an entertaining encounter.

Harchester United remain top of the Premier Division after they beat Sporting Gibson 3-0, whilst Skillage In The Village remain a point off the top after they beat Whoppas United 4-1.  Beaky Blinders put in an impressive performance against CF De Rugeley, beating them 5-2 and moving above them into third in the process.  Classtroturf moved up a place in the table to sixth at the expense of their opponents Tottenham Hotsperm who they convincingly beat 3-0, whilst finally Sporting Bad Haircuts were the big winners of the night, they thrashed Karius To Glory 6-0 in a match where they were clinical in front of goal.

Fred West Ham continue to lead the way in Division One since their promotion.  They have made it 5 wins out of 6 since coming up and this week they thrashed FC Fruity Dons 6-1 as they aim for back to back promotions.  Dominos 2-0 win over Harriers, coupled with Ajax Treesdown and Chase Young Boys defeats sees them leapfrog both and move into second place.  Pathetico Madrid edged past Club Bates 2-1 whilst Cannock Spartans were 2-0 winners against Chase Young Boys, which sees four teams locked on 7 points.

TheKettyCabbage moved took pole position in Division Two after they knocked VTS off their perch with a 2-0 win over them.  Third place Norfolk In Chance were 2-0 winners over Notinmymoms Forest which sees the top three level on points with HHSB sitting in fourth just a point off the pace following an impressive 4-0 win against Two Girls One Klopp.  Dynamo Fuktherest moved four points clear of the bottom two as they beat SevillaLacatalent by the same scoreline.
