Monday 10th July - Cannock and Hednesford Round-Up

In an action-packed Monday night, the Cannock and Hednesford Monday 6-a-side League showcased incredible matches across its four divisions. With only two weeks left in the season, there is plenty to play for across all leagues!

In the Premier League division, Aston Villagers and Athletico Gem Carpets United played out an intense 4-4 draw, while Tekkerslovakia fell to a 1-3 defeat against Bridge Rejects. Skillage In The Village secured a narrow 1-0 victory over We Are Bad, and Karius To Glory triumphed over Harchester United with an impressive 4-1 scoreline.

The Division 1 clashes saw AFC Hednesford Rejects dominate BarSportelona with a remarkable 14-1 win. Thiago X Silva secured a narrow 1-0 victory against Neville Wears Prada, while The Swan FC edged out Sevilla Depression with a 3-2 scoreline. The match between The Arcade Cannock and Colonel Getafe ended in a 2-2 draw.

In Division 2, Adi Cannock battled to a thrilling 4-4 draw against Koch In Dias, while Madeline Milan defeated Hednesford Old Boys 5-1. Paris Ganja Man secured a 2-0 victory over Socks, and Red Hot Chilli Knackers dominated Quantum FC with a convincing 5-1 win.

Finally, in Division 3, Ayden B delivered an impressive 4-1 victory over Beacon Bombs, while The Special Ones secured a dominant 5-1 win against Set 8 Ballers. Pathetico Madrid triumphed over Bazikstan FC with a narrow 1-0 scoreline, and It Was Just Matip claimed a 5-2 victory against Netsix And Chill.

With only two weeks remaining in the season, teams are fiercely competing to secure their place for the next campaign. In the Premier League, the top scorers for the week were Karius To Glory, who netted four goals. In Division 1, AFC Hednesford Rejects showcased their attacking prowess with an impressive fourteen goals. In Division 2, the top scorers were Madeline Milan, who scored five goals, and finally, in Division 3, It Was Just Matip secured five goals to top the scoring charts.

As the Cannock Monday 6-a-side Football League reaches its thrilling conclusion, fans can expect more captivating action in the remaining fixtures. The race for promotion and the battle against relegation intensifies, making every match a must-watch.

We are delighted to welcome new team 'Bargain Boyz' to the league on Monday 17th July!  They replace the outgoing ADI Cannock who've moved over to the Sunday league.  We wish the new boys good luck on their debut in Division Two as they face Red Hot Chilli Knackers.
